Frozen Sorbet Recipe

*Creates 4 cups of Sorbet

Ingredients:

  • 4 pouches of Food Print Frozen Blackberry Fruit Pulp (1 pouch = 100 grams)

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar

  • 2 cups of water

  • 4 teaspoons of Lemon Juice

  • 2 teaspoons of Lemon Zest


Create the Simple Syrup

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add the water and sugar and stir occasionally until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  • Put syrup aside to cool until it reaches room temperature.


Create the Mixture

  • Blend the Food Print Blackberry fruit, simple syrup, lemon juice and lemon zest until well combined.

  • Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more simple syrup if needed.

  • Pour liquid into rectangular loaf pan.

  • Freeze mixture for four (4) hours or until mixture is firm.


Serve

  • Remove from freezer and let rest for one (1) minutes then scoop and serve with spoon or icecream scoop.

  • Enjoy!
